How To Treat Pain In Armpit,shoulder And Neck Inspite Of Using Meloxicam?

Hi, i have had pain in my right armpit shoulder and neck since last may, the pain in my armpit felt like a balloon was inflating and causing extreme pressure and pain. I tried a few different anti-inflammatory prescriptions without any relief until Meloxicam (15mg). My doctor first suspected a brachail plexus injury and has sent me to see a surgeon who said that my neck appeared to be okay, i just visited a neurologist and he tested me for nerve function which he said was normal and has now made an appointment for an MRI. i have been off the Meloxicam for 1 week now and the pain is coming back, pinching, stabbing, burning pain in both armpits and in the upper center of my back. Numbness in both arms and hands. i am also waiting on blood work Any advice would be appreciated as this has been persistent for 10 months now.
