How To Treat Pain In Feet Inspite Of Using Chymoral And Salicylic Acid For Infection?

Hello..I am 27 years old, 1 month back I scratches my feet ball point with safety pin,thought of any particles inside. But after that the size of small round size increasing day by day,now its 1 months,its paining and pale yellow liquid can be seen inside. .I shown to doctors, prescribe me ointment salicyic acid and chymoral forte tab. I use to gym n heavy pressure I put Ib feet,its paining n size increasing day by day. Pls suggested.

Hi,

If there is foreign body inside any tissues, our body immune acts against those things and remove them from our body. If it is solid one, there may inflammatory reaction around them to prevent its spread to the rest of the body. Similarly, there may be focal infection in your foot which results in pus formation.

Topical antibiotics are better treatment option for foot ulcer. Over the counter ointment Povidone iodine can be applied on the wound after washing it to cure the infection. Maintaining wound hygiene without soiling helps to prevent progression of the infection. If the wound is not healing, it should be explored for any foreign body. Visit a surgeon, if the problem not getting better with topical antibiotic ointment.
