How To Treat Pain In Wrist Caused Due To Sprain?

According to my doctor I sprained my wrist two weeks ago. I had an x-Ray done and it came up clear. I still have pain in my wrist, particularly around my thumb, and I feel pain when I pull up on clothing or weight bare on my hand. Should I be going back to the doctor?

Hi
Sprain takes some time to cure. You can apply any pain-relieving cream/gel like voltral gel (diclofenac sodium) three times daily until pain subsides. Thank you for contacting HCM.
