How To Treat Painful Bumps On The Back Of Throat?

Uhm I have small bumps on the back of my throat and my throat is slightly hurting but the bumps is more of my concern. I looked it up and I got like I forget the name but it was a two word thing the first word was c and the second one started with p? I just want to know how to treat it

Thanks for posting your query.

The bumps could be due to infection of throator it could be an extra growth of soft tissue in throat. I need to know since how long you are having these bumps.
The infection is caused either due to Virus or Bacteria. If we treat your throat infection the bumps will resolve automatically but treatment if different for virus and bacteria.
My advise to you is , if the bumps are there since few days only then you can just wait and observe . Do salt water gargling 3-4 times a day, eat less oily food , avoid non veg food and citrus fruits.

If the bumps persists then get a test called Throat swab culture sensitivity test and revert back with reports.
