Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am having a painful spasm of some sort behind my left jaw and under/behind my left ear. It is intermittent, but severe. Could it be TMJ, or a sinus infection? I do have stable fluid in mastoid cells as shown on MRI. Could this also cause the pain. Thank you!
In my opinion, this could be due to any inflammation in the neck of teeth infection. It could also be an inflamed lymph node. I suggest you visit your family doctor for the same.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Gopal Goel, Orthopaedic Surgeon
