How To Treat Patella Dislocation?

dislocated my patella about 5 weeks ago. Only just had an MRI cos of waitlist. Im begging to get back knee flexion into it. planning on travelling overseas in 6 weeks.. long haul. still swollen.. any recommendations for injections or particular knee braces?

Hi,

I have read your query.

You should get knee brace as early as possible because if not treated further it will lead to arthritis of femoropatellar joint. Till then do not do flexion of knee, avoid flexion i.e squatting , upstairs etc.
