How To Treat Protruding Fibula From Right Knee Along With Torn Meniscus?

Thank you.Just today I noticed that the tip of my right knee fibula is protruding.I have a 7 year old, issue with right knee: 2 torn miniscus, possible ruptured ACL, no cartilage left, but also no pain. Itake a good homeopathic supplement which I swear has helped me tremendously. 3 days ago I exercised, but not hard, with just doing leg lifts (side and front) as I always do. I have no pain, but strangely a protrusion on my right knee, right side, which I assume is the fibula. Thank you for your help.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Noted your detailed history about a 7 year old problem with right knee, 2 torn meniscus, possible ruptured ACL, no cartilage left and now protrusion from the lateral aspect of the knee joint indicating a fibula which you are not sure about.
The best way in such a case is to get a clinical examination done by an Orthopedic Surgeon.
Clinically he can tell you the cause whether bone or something else like synovial membrane and so on.
Confirmation is always by an MRI to see for the cause and have proper plan of management since you already have undergone so much problem and should be really careful about the proper diagnosis and have proper management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, ENT and General Surgeon
