Hi, Loose circumcision is the type of circumcision, where sufficient fore-skin is left, so that it does not feel tight. A penile adhesion occurs, when the foreskin is attached to the base of head of penis. It usually occurs in babies, whether circumcised or non-circumcised. For treating this, the splitting of the adhesion is to be done surgically. Swelling and redness may be normally present for some days at the local site after circumcision or even after the splitting of penile adhesion surgically. This swelling & redness subsides itself after sometimes. For relief of pain oral analgesic like Tylenol or ibuprofen may be given. However, if the pain and/or swelling persists for a long time or the pain increases in intensity or it is accompanied by fever, then you are advised to see your doctor, as there may be presence of some local infection in the wound of procedure & may require treatment by antibiotics.
