How To Treat Severe Bone Ache And Menstrual Irregularity With Elevated WBC Count?
I have had a blood test come back with a high white blood cell count after I presented to a GP with bone aches and a irregular menstrual cycle. I am waiting on a second blood test to test the blood count again but I am concerned about the bone aches as the bloods came back clear for arthritis etc. My GP thinks it could be a virus but I have not heard of a virus causing bone ache especially to the severity I sometimes get them. I am a 43 year old female. Thks
Hi, You were having bone pain but which part of your body you dint mentioned. When there is any infectious organism invades there starts inflammatory reaction in our body hence generalized pain (coz of proataglandine) ,joint ache ,rise of temp ,..... and blood shows raised leucocyte level (as you have both). Again you said you have irregular cycle but dint explained.Need to go through the cause of it through proper clinical examination including pv and investigation .
So first take antibiotic treatment accordingly with analgesic ,ppi with other supportive treatment . Once report shows no infection then visit gynecology clinic for management of irregular cycle if still persists .
If you provide me details I would help you better
THANKS N REGARDS
