How To Treat Shortness Of Breath, Elevated BP And Anxiety That Began After Taking Cipro For Bladder Infection?

I experienced a kidney stone on Saturday morning and as precaution, went to the doctor on Monday morning to check for a possible bladder infection. Test showed only a trace of blood and infection. Was prescribed Cipro. After taking the first 3, I am very fatigued and am having some shortness of breath along with elevated blood pressure and nervousness. I called the doctor and asked her to change the antibiotic. How long will it take the Cipro to leave my system?

Thank you for writing in.I don't think that the effects you experienced were due to cipro as there is no such documented adverse reactions.OK let it be.cipro has a half life of 4-6hrs after which its effects wanes of slowly over two days.as you doc changed drugs. hope that suits and you get well soon.
