Hi sir, am facing a problem to sleep. I dont get sleep much soundly during nights and it takes for me hours to get into sleep once am on bed. Most of the times i wake up during midnights and feel difficult to sleep again. Can you please help me out in this regard?
Snoring is caused by some sort of obstruction to the airflow in nose and/or pharynx. * Consult an ENT Surgeon specialized in sleep disorders for clinical evaluation, examination and relevant investigations * Induced sleep Endoscopy to see which part is taking part in snoring and to get this treated by medicines or surgery * MRI study, X-rays of chest also help in diagnosis * If there is deviated nasal septum or hypertrophied turbinate then get operated. as medicines do not work much in such cases * If the sleeping problem persists as the cause may be psychological then get your doctor's help by counselling and medications.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
