How To Treat Sore Throat, Earache And Body Pain?

I have a severe sore throat and earche and body pain , when I caugh its painful I cant swallow I took azithromycin fot three days and lots of fluid and it still painful . I took robitosons caugh medicine too what should I do ? thank u for helping me

Hi,

It looks like bacterial throat infection or strep throat. If infection is severe it can take a little longer to get better. You can continue taking Azithromycin for another 3 days. Along with it, you can take any anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen for reducing pain and inflammation. Do warm salt water gargles 2-3 times a day to soothe the throat. Take throat lozenges. Drink more of warm liquids and take soft and bland diet. But if there is no Improvement in 3 days, better get checked by a doctor.
