How To Treat Sore Throat, Fever And Tremors?

Hello. I am having sore throat since a week additionally with fever and shivering.doctor prescribed me moxyzan 500, diclorax and supradyn. The fever is fine but me throat there is no relief.the infection is so much that I cant even swallow water. Should I change the antibiotic to for eg. Almox 500 or augment 625 ??

The settlement of fever shows that antibiotic have worked. But difficulty swallowing can be due to pharyngeal inflammation or tonsillitis. If 7 days of antibiotic have been completed, then switching antibiotic to augmentin 625mg can be helpful.

Meanwhile using anti inflammatory like ibuprofen may help to decrease swelling and pain.

Gargles with luked warm saline water may help. Steam inhalation can also be followed along.

Avoid bitter, oily or greasy foods. Hot beverages may give temporary relief.
