How To Treat Stomach Infection Inspite Of Giving Oflomac And Brocon In Children?
sir my daughter is suffering from stomach problem for last 5-6 days and she diagnosed with stomach infection and prescribed with oflomac m forte which we gave her 2.5 ml raw but after 3-4 days her condition not so improving and we go to the doctor again and he then prescribed broxon n yesterday but she could not improve. So what can I do and how she could over come her disease?
Your daughter have symptoms of stomach infection which seems to be due to acute gastroenteritis which is a type of viral infection.
I would suggest you take proper rest. You should have plenty of fluids to rehydrate. You should take a diet rich in multivitamins. You should take a diet rich in fibers and proton pump inhibitors. You should do tepid sponging as well. Avoid intake of outside hot and spicy food substances.
Visit gastroenterologist once and get it examined. You should get blood tests done to find out the underlying cause of your condition whether bacterial or viral and start treatment accordingly. Your symptoms will resolve in 3-5 days.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
