I had a soar throat for about 3-4 weeks I was taking paracetamol, beechams etc. During the night on Christmas night I wS awake the whole night with the pain by 5am my tongue was sore and swollen, my lips had swollen and my right eye slightly. By this time I couldn't swallow saliva. I went to out of hours thinking I would get an antibiotic and I was admitted to hospital where they put a camera up my nose down my throat said I had a lump on my vocal cords. I was put on a drip with steroids, antibiotics, fluid and pain relief. I was in hospital for 5 days then discharged with antibiotics since then I have been back at my own doctors who gave me more antibiotics but I have been feeling dizzy and feel like there is something stuck in my chest sometimes. My throat is still bit sore but nothing to what it was. I have to go navy to hospital in 3 weeks. Is this anything that I should be worried about?
