How To Treat Symptoms Of Lacrimal Caruncle ?

Hi, I recently discovered that for most of my life the visible part of the tear duct the pink area is too enlarged on both eyes equally. That would be the lacrimal caruncle right? This causes sometimes for photos of me (with regular flash) to highlight too brightly in either bright red pink or white depending on light. All my life ( I am a 22 year old female) my eyes have itched and felt dry also. Like constant sand in my eyes. Even artificial tears or eye drops to alleviate feel like an extreme burning sensation. Allergies make it worse and looking at any screen of bright light blinds me. I suspect this is also a another eye problem. I had blood tests for thyroid problems yet they come back with nothing. However it is visible my eyes bulge also. I suspect that is genetic so doctors will refuse to believe it is a problem. I also wake up frequently cross eyed or with blurry eyesight (my eyes squash into the pillow) the bulging does not look too severe but I am worried this might be an underlying problem that happened gradually since I was 5 or 8 years old. Is there any surgery or treatment to reshape the inner eye to hide the excessively visible pink part? (Orbital decompression for bulging eyes would be impossible at the moment.) please help.thanks in advance
