How To Treat Tear Of The Proximal Anterior And Posterior Bands Of Elbow?

i have complete tear of the proximal anterior and posterior bands of the elbow along with some high grade 2 near complete tear of the ucl. i also have a non displaced fracture of the posterior aspect of the radial head with extension to the radial neck, also impaction fraction at the posterior aspect of the capitellum with moderate adajecent bone marrow edema. large joint effusion/hemarthrosis, also have mild edema of ulnar nervemy family dr thinks i will need surgery

Hi,

As I see the history I think your family Doctor is right , you definitely need a surgery to fix the joint. If left untreated may land up in to non functional joints and other complications.

Post surgery you will be in cast for some weeks. After the cast is removed you will be put forward to physiotherapy to achieve the maximum functions of the elbow joint.
