How To Treat The Back Pain And Protruding Knot Next To The Spine?
My 15 year old granddaughter is a Medicaid recipient. She is tall and thin and having back pain. She has been to the community clinic and another doctor in Joplin and was told she needed ex-rays before she is treated, however, we are having trouble finding a provider that will ex-ray her before treatment since she has only Medicaid. She has a large protruding knot next to her spine that has been there for some time. These health care providers seem to be overlooking this malady. I am concerned. So far, we have been unable to obtain a referral to the ortho clinic.
I have studied your case. According to your history there is possibility of benign swelling around your spine. As swelling is not reducing I will advise you to further investigate for the cause of swelling. I will advise you to do MRI and Ultrasound of the swelling. If its collection or benign mass it can be excised.
Till time you can take anti-inflammatory and antibiotic if infection is suspected.
Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
Wishing you good health.
Take care
