Hi, thanks for asking from HCM.
I can understand your concern. As you are getting headache after working on computer, the cause could be
:
Tension headache following eye muscle spasm
:
Refractive error in eyes- For it, you have to get your eyes checked up. The doctor may prescribe glasses for number and thy will take care of pain.
But if it is normal, the cause could be Tension headache.
For tension headache, you should
: Use computer with less bright screen.
: after every 45 min, close eyes for 1 min to relax eye muscles.
: daily wash eyes with cold saline
: Do not continuously stare computer screen. Remember blinking is always good for eye lubrication.
: You should wear glasses if you have one.
: Daily sleep for 8-9 hours to relieve fatigue in body
: Yoga and exercise will help in relieving muscles.
: For mild pain,
head massage and pain killer gel at temple area help.
: Avoid late night TV, skipping breakfast.
there is no need to take painkiller until
severe pain. If still pain persists, ask another question or
consult neurologist.
Thanks. Take care.
