How To Treat The Painful Lump On The Right Collarbone Near The Throat?
I ve had a lump on my right collarbone near the throat for about three months. It is not painful when I press on it, and I m not aware of any other lumps. I am a 68 year old female, a little bit overweight. My only medical problem is bursitis in the right hip. Any suggestions/opinions?
Hi. Read and understood your history of painless ump on the right collarbone for about three months. You also have bursitis of the right hip.
My opinion: I do not think that the bursitis and the lump is related. The painless lump of 3 months needs investigations: - Ultrasonography and the FNAC are the best available investigations to get a probable diagnosis, helped by investigations of the blood and urine. The another best way is to get an excision biopsy done to get the confirmed diagnosis and get a plan of further treatment.
