Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was awaken at 0130 by severe right hip pain. No hx of mva or injury to body part. I took med. Awoke at 0630 with same pain, took 800 mg of Tylenol. One hour later, still painful, took hydrocone 5mg w/apa 500 mg. I am still in pain, have any suggestions for me.
As you have pain in the hip which isn't coming down with the medicine I will advise for the hip x-ray. As the pain has to come down with the medicine and if it doesn't we need to rule out the underlying pathology to treat it.
For now, I will advise for an x-ray of hip and hot water fermentation. Once we get the x-ray report and finds not joint pathology then exercise for strengthening the core muscles, hip muscles and thigh muscles will be beneficial.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
