My husband had his thyroids removed in December and we are going back to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America and he is to stop the thyroid pill he was on two weeks prior to his radiation isolation treatment. What can I expect as possible reactions to being off this for two or so weeks? The doctor said he could tire easily and sometimes be irritable. He handled his chemo well and never was sick when he had it back in 2011 when he had stomach cancer of which he has been cancer free for almost three years now..other than one side of his thyroid was cancerous and removed and other was not cancerous
