How To Treat Urticaria?

My dermatologists told me that I have an urticaria. She gave me a medicine for more than two weeks namely prednisolone 5mg tablet and bethametasone cream. Said medicine didn t work for me even preventing from eating eggs, chickens, eggplants, dried fist, sea foods and many others. My allergies appears for an hour then it will dissapear, but after 8 hours from taking the medicine it will re-appear. What will I do? Should I take antihistamine medine now even without my doctors prescription? Thanks

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the urticarial then it may be self limiting some time, in case of persistence symptoms this can be best managed with "Tab Hydroxyzine 10 mg three times in day, try to away from the emotional stress, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
