Hi, my mum is 60 and she is all of a Sudan experienced some vaginal discharge, watery, clear.. Last Tuesday and then Friday night and sat morning and she noticed she has a bit of blood when wipes afer urinating.. She took blood tests on sat morning, but I'm very worried as to what could it be
I think that the first thing that is required for this condition is a ultrasound examination of lower abdomen to determine the endometrial thickness. After this I would suggest a antibiotics course and tranaxemic acids course for 5 days, do a sugar test. Post menopausal bleeding is commonly due to endometrial shedding and there is nothing much to worry but still I would suggest a endometrial biopsy to rule out other causes.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
