I have many sinus infections and treat it with silver, that works well, but now I have persistent cough for 3 months due to unfrozen ground and abnormally warm MN winter so mold is in the air longer this year, My allergies are out of controll, I am considering moving to better climate, but what can help my wet cough go away in the mean time?
Hello Since you mentioned that there is cough with expectoration ( phlegm or wet cough as I understand). Sinus problem and mold present so in my opinion you got allergy initially due to sinus and mold ( act as an allergen ) . Wet cough from 3 months may be due to these reasons , these includes . 1 Bronchiectasis , as this is the most common cause of wet cough . Diagnosis can be confirmed by X ray chest and sputum culture examination. 2 Asthmatic allergic bronchitis is the another most common cause . Consult a physician and get his opinion as physical examination is important in this case. 3 Tuberculosis is another such cause so please get in sputum as well blood examination for C BC & ES R , chest X RAY. In my opinion before shifting please consult a physician and sort out this cough ( wet ) problem. Sometimes lung abscess produces huge amount of cough . Good luck.
