My son has a white spot at the back of his throat. The dr. said wasn't strep or an infection but something that can happen when change in diet or under stress such as taking school exams. He was given a gargle and ointment to put on this spot. Wondering what this is called,
The white spot may be due to what is called aphthous ulcer, which come during periods of stress! You should continue the gargles and ointment and he will be fine! Thanks
