Before having my son i loved them 3 kids and they were great but in the last 3 or so months i cant stand them. they are very spoilt when in our care there is no disipline what so ever. They speak to me rudly and dont listen to me and i have a short temper with them. i get so upset with myself and cry when i think of things. my partner and i use to have fun together no i keep thinking to myself i dont love him as much and he gets on my nerves as well. We havent had sex for like 3 months when we use to have it like every 2nd day. HELP ME answer my question. What do i do?

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. It is common and normal to some extent in females to develop anger on kids of other females other than her own kids. But if this anger starts to hamper personal and social life then this requires proper evaluation by a psychiatrist. Persistent anger could be a sign of atypical depression. First thing that should be done is to sit and talk as a whole family. If you have or are facing any problems with the kids then speak in front of your husband and also with kids. If they have any problem with you they can also tell you. This would result in removal of confusion and should help you in the problem you are facing. Try to spend more and more time with your husband. But you haven't had sex in last 3 months, you are not enjoying any activities so these symptoms could be occurring due to depression and for this visit a psychiatrist at least to rule out the depression. Counselling by a relationship counsellor can also help in coming out of this problem.

Hope this helps you. Thanks and take care
