How Would Interpret An ECG That Shows A Nonspecific ST Abnormality?
How would interpret an ECG that shows a nonspecific ST abnormality, normal sinus rhythm w/sinus tach? Prev. ECG showed L. vent strain with mild hypertrophy. Current ECG with RR 94bpm (WNL), PR int. 134ms (WNL), QRS duration 70ms (WNL), PRT axes (73 059 45 degrees), QT int. 352ms but QTc 440ms. Wish I could upload 12-lead tracing.
Thank you for your question on HCM. Your ECG report looks alright as since it is clearly mention that ST abnormality is nonspecific, no need to worry. Usually ST abnormality more than 1 mm either depression or elevation is significant. And if you still want to confirm ST abnormality, go for TMT test. This will tell you, how your heart and ST segment behaves under stress.
