High blood pressure usually does not indicate a necessity for Angiogram. Only if there is a coronary artery problem, then there is a need to know if there is any problem in the coronary arteries, blockage mainly.

hi;
High Blood pressure is not a indication for Angiogram.Please write whether you have any associated symptoms like breathlessness on exertion;or difficulty to climb stairs;chest pain at rest or exertion.If any such symptom is present you may require to get angiogram done .But even if these symptoms are present & you are not satisfied by advice of your doctor ;You can take a second opinion from some other Cardiologist.
thanks
