I Am 28 Year Old And 4.5 Months Pregnant, Facing Sleeplessness
Hi, I am 28 year old and 4.5 months pregnant . I am facing sleeplessness from some days now. The sleep is either disturbed or i don t get sleep at all. How do I tackle this? I have tried taking bath before sleeping, having a walk etc but its the same. Can it be because of work pressure? I am working for almost 9 hours daily and the pressure is high.
Yes, it is becuse of your work pressure which causes Tension/Anxiety leading to disturbed sleep. You need relaxation. I don't mean that you should stop working totally but avoid some load, have light mood even wile working, do some Yoga, morning walk, see light movies, light books and remain happy. Wish you have a healthy cute baby. DR B P SINHA PSYCHIATRIST
Ask your doctor if it is ok to take melatonin. It is a dietary supplement that is great to help you fall asleep and stay asleep and doesn't leave you feeing drowsy in the morning. My doctor recommended it for my daughter who was 6 at the time. It is found in the vitaimn section at any drug store. I get it at a store called Dollar General cause I have found that it is cheaper there.
Hello.welcome.If you are having lots of work pressure then you must think of ways to reduce them.If can't be done then take leave from your job.Having constant pressure along with pregnancy is not good for the child.Good luck.
