I Am 65 Years Old And Have Suffered From Depression/anxiety

I am 65 years old and have suffered from depression/anxiety for as long as I remember. My mother was the same way and so was her mother, who ended up commiting suicide. I have taken almost every antidepressant on the market. I am now taking Cymbalta 30 mg once day. I had been on higher doses but it caused worse anxiety. I have been taking Quetiapine for 5 days and feel pretty good. Sometime I go so overboard when taking normal presecired doses of meds I decided to take 1/2 of the 25 mg pill at bedtime. I'm glad I did because it really did knock me out but I do feel better. So I intend to keep taking. I have read a lot about the drug with a lot of users complaining about weight gain. Does the drug increase appetite or is there something in the drug that just increases weight? I'm confused about how this works. So far I do not feel hungrier. In fact I feel a bit less hungry. I have fibromyalgia and a arthritis in my back along with degenerative disk disease. When I have gained weight it has made it difficult for me to work because I seem to gain in in my buttocks and my weak back can't carry it. I'm just extremely concerned about weight gain on this drug. What can you tell me?
