Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 72 years old and had triple bypass surgery last month and have been doing well. I start cardiac rehab mid-January. My perceived problem comes with heavy sweating after I have dinner. I don't eat a lot; I am not all that hungry. I am worried that something else is wrong. My heart surgeon has scheduled a cartoid artery scan this week as he has found some reason to believe a blockage or some form of artery plaque is causing me possible problems. As I said, I am worried since sweating is one of the symptoms of heart problems. Any suggestions? Julie
