I Am A 33 Year Old Female. I Have Had

I am a 33 year old female. I have had two children, one miscarriage, and a bilateral salpingectomy due to an ectopic pregnancy. I have noticed my periods after my salpingectomy have been heavier during the first 1-2 days of my period and my periods have started to come about every 24-25 days. I use to have periods every 28 days until the surgery and my tubes were removed. Does a salpingectomy cause change in my periods? I don't usually have pain during my periods but some times slight cramping. Not sure how to get my period back to every 28days if possible. I also get pain in my left side and am not sure if this is from ovarian cysts as I have gotten those in the past too. Please provide insight, thanks.
