I am a 64 year old female, retired, and just had good results in my yearly examine. My cholesterol is 199 my weight is down to 175 and the rest was all very good also. I mentioned to my doctor that every so often my heart seems to palpitate. Since then (about 2 months) and for about the last 2 weeks, my heart has been palpitating daily...not all day but rather throughout. It seems to be irregular beats which I can feel in my throat/neck area. I had this happen while I was working a stressful job but have been retired for about 1 1/2 years now. What is happening and how worried should I be?
