I Am A 71 Year Old Male Who Had Pinks

I am a 71 year old male who had pinks disease at the age of 6 months I was treated with the ever faithfull M & B tablets. I am now suffering with Periferal Neuropathy which is developing quite quickly. Could there be any relationship between the two conditions and if so how should my current condition be treated
