I am a patient of diabetes mellitus since the last 12 years sugar level fasting is 200 or 180 rarely 160 170. Right foot smallest finger feels if thickened.l had a cardiac by pass surgery in 2013.
I have pain calves all the time making walking difficult toay doctor prescribed neuromet 500
please advise me how to control my sugar.
l am taking the following medicines:-
Amareyl 3mg 1morning 1 evening
novonorm 2mg after food morning/evening
Aspirin 100 one daily
Diovan 80 mg one daily
Lipitor 10 mg one daily
lnsulin started taking 2 days before on my doctor's advice as follows:'
Lantus solostar 15 units at night
Apidra 4 units morning evening
By taking insulin sugar has come down to 132 today and 104 yesterday (fasting)
Pls advise.
