I Am A Women; 61 Years Old; Still Get Hot

I am a women; 61 years old; still get hot flashes; take no meds other than advil. Was very very active / athletic my entire life. Within the past year, I have suffered with headaches; it actually hurts to hold my neck upright at times; it also hurts to lay my head on a pillow - my head aches in the back of my head. I had an x-ray done which gave a picture of degenerative neck issues, etc, which can cause headaches. Pretty normal, I think, for my age and level of activity. I'm afraid to get an MRI - I'm claustrophobic, and will need heavy heavy meds to undergo an MRI. I'm scraed that I might have a brain tumor. The symptoms have gotten worse within the past year...
