I Am Cancer Survivor Of Osteosarcoma Having Sharp Pain In Leg While Taking Step After Femur Replacement With Titanium
hi, im a cancer survivor of osteosarcoma, i had a femur replacement with titanium in my right leg, a year ago, and now im feeling pain on my leg & it keeps locking everytime i take a step. Its making it very difficult for me to walk. I feel very sharp pain when i try to walk & it locks. I feel like a pencil stabbing my knee joint.
Lock knee can be due to some mechanical block or intense pain. Mechanical block can be due to meniscus tear resulting in accumulation of torn fragments in joint. Severe pain during knee motion can also result in lock knee. But your history of Osteosarcoma and titanium implant cannot be ignored. Do consult a local orthopedic doctor for clinical examination and investigations to find out the exact cause.
Do consider a positive feedback as a credit to my work. Let me know if you have any further questions.
