I Am Currently Diagonized As Type II Diabetes. My Doctor

I am currently diagonized as type II Diabetes. My doctor prescribed me 1 tablet mopaday forte and 1 tab sugamet mc 1000 mg . Both the tabs has to be taken together after dinner. The combine dose has got 2000 mg metformin. Is it safe to take both tabs together.
