I have been having difficulty swallowing for some time. I have gone to my GPS who has referred me to a specialist. Following and endoscopy I was told there was nothing wrong. So I am wondering why I still have this problem. I was told I had a hiatus hernia. I weigh approx 12 stone. I am very careful when eating and am avoiding any lumpy food. Have you any suggestions. Thanks, Eileen
I would like you to meet your orthopedic doctor as sometimes the difficulty in swallowing can be due to enlarged osteophytes due to spondylosis or a neurologist as the difficulty may be due to some neural affection. Please dont worry , meet your doctor and get back to me with the reports , so that i can help you further. Thanks
