I Am Having Two Teeth Located In The Fifth Position, Kindly Advice Me
hi I am having two teeth located in the fifth position to its extreme ends(from both sides) they are very sharp and look like vampires teeth. and major problem wid dat teeth is i always feel like biting something hard, and a kind of waving sensation always lies in dat teeth.
hi,
Hi due to unusual placement of some teeth, many a times the biting forces on those teeth are more than normal which may lead to discomfort. your problem may be related to gums, requiring a good clean up also in the area but after reading about your sharp teeth and their placement i strongly suggest orthodontic treatment ie: braces. once your teeth come in normal position, it will be easier for you to clean them and the biting forces will reduce considerably resulting in relief.
Hello
Welcome to HCM
I went through your query & would like to tell you that your problem is due to orthodontic reason because your premolars are not in proper occlusion & might be exerting pressure while occluding. You didn't mention your age because orthodontic treatment gives good results only till 20 years.
You also need to take good care of your oral hygiene because in case of crowding of teeth food debris get easily accumulated. Do regular brushing & flossing.
Consult an orthodontist for same.
Fifth teeth are called as premolars & are most likely affected teeth in Mal-occlusion or wrong alignment of the teeth.
If those teeth are very sharp, they can hurt your tongue during eating creating painful situation along with discomfort.
You will have to visit your dentist to slightly grind the sharp cusps of the teeth or teeth tips will be rounded off by the dentist to reduce the sharpness.
If both the teeth are not in alignment or out of the arch extremely, then you can go for orthodontic treatment.
One more important thing i will mention here that, in patients like you whose teeth are not properly aligned, chances of food debris & plaque accumulation are on higher side thus compromising peridontal health surrounding the teeth & may lead to gingival infections.
So, maintain your oral health to optimum level by exercising proper cleaning habits & regular scaling done by your dentist.
hello there may be two causes for this 1.due to proper lack of space two teeth have grown one above the other 2.rarely there are cases of anamoly where in an extra teeth erupts so what i would advise is that you pay a visit to your dentist , get a radiograph done and if its the 1st case than your orthodontist will definately get it placed right by means of orthodontic wires and braces but if its the 2nd case than probably you will have to go for extraction as such teeth lead to poor oral hygiene hope this helps
According to your clinical symptoms i suppose that you are having malaligned premolars, this can be due to abnormal biting forces or gingival problems. If there is presence of any sharp cusp get it trimmed. Go for complete mouth scaling and polishing. For the malaligned teeth you visit to an Orthodontist and get the checkup done, take an OPG radiograph, orthodontic braces can be given to correct malalignment. At home take antispetic mouthwash rinses and maintain a good oral hygiene.
hi... thanks for the query... well, visit your dentist for proper clinical and radiographic analysis... in case one of them is primary or any supernumery tooth, then it has to be extracted.. and it might require orthodontic treatment to align all teeth properly... in case both are permanent, then you should consult orthodontist, for proper space management and to align them properly... hope it will help you... take care...
hello and welcome,
your premolars are irregularly placed or malpositioned resulting in crowding of teeth.
crowding results in plaque and food debris deposition resulting in bone loss, periodontal destruction causing tooth mobility, periodontitis etc.
get your teeth cleaned by your dentist.
get orthodontic treatment to correct the malpositioned teeth and malocclusion.
use soft-bristled toothbrush,brush your teeth back-forth and top-bottom .
always rinse your mouth after every meals.
maintain good oral hygiene.

fifth teeth means from the centre midline ? are you talking of premolars ? anyways consult your dentist if you could have them grinded a little without much loss of tooth structure.
use sensodyne tootpaste if the waving sensation you mean is sensitivity.
what i can understand from your explanation of a "waving sensation" may be gum related. kindly visit your dentist to get a thorough examination of your mouth & initiate appropriate treatment
