I am taking Methatrixate 20 via injection each week along with folic acid. I am currently in south Spain on the coast. I have been here for six weeks in an attempt to restore my health. I am diagnosed with a look alike poly RA. I appear to be a magnet for all insects looking for a free meal.

. Currently I have twenty insect bites. They are large and uncomfortable. I have used most bug repelants without any success . Am currently using a natural essential oil (catnip) and coconut oil as a carrier oil. Helps to some extent. I am not usually bothered by insects but this past six weeks have been terrible . Is there a known direct link to the Methotrexate attracting bugs. . My life is misaerable. It’s 34 degrees C most days. I wear shoes socks and linen trousers and long sleeve shirts to protect myself. I can not sunbath or swim as a consequence. Seriously considered stopping the Methotrexate , but am too afraid of becoming immobile and getting stuck here. My home is in UK close to London. I have been on this drug for 15 months now.
