Hi, I did a HIV test in Indonesia. I want to have some explanation on the result. VDRL - non reactive HIV Spot (ONCOPROBE) - Non Reactive HIV COMBO (ROCHE) - 0.26 COI non reactive The 1st 2 the normal values mentioned as non reactive and result also non reactive but for the HIV Combo the normal value mentioned as non reactive: <0.89 and my result is 0.26 What is this means. My 2nd question is the test in indoneisa is reliable? Soorya
INDONESIA IS A GOOD COUNTRY A RELIABLE LABORATORY AND PATHOLOGIST WORK THERE SO DONOT WORRY ABOUT THAT YOUR VALUE IS FAR BELOW THE NORMAL RANGE THAT MEANS IT IS NEGATIVE.
Hi well come to HCM.
Normal value 0.89 means upto 0.89 is normal does not mean it should be 0.89, any
thing below this is normal and above this is positive report. Test done any where in
standard laboratory ran by qualified person will give reliable report. But for satisfaction
you can recheck no harm. Thanks.
