I Do Not Take Oxycodone But The Piss Test Was Positive For Oxycodone. How?

I m currently taking hydrocodone which is prescribed. I m also on probation. When my probation officer pissed tested me on march 25, 2014 the piss test also was positive for oxycodone and I denied using that medication. Which is the truth, I have no reason to fib. He literally screamed at me stating I was not telling the truth. The cost of the dip stick test was $9.50. I think it was a cheap test and is not accurate. Because Dr.Grief I do not take oxycodone. I do not want to go to jail!

It is well known that oxy can show up as positive in a urine screen if you are taking hydrocodone. One Drs office that I have heard about has stopped sending these "false positives" in for mass spectrometry testing as they have had over 95% come back as falsly testing positive for oxycodone, when it was indeed hydrocodone.

One person who had this false positive had only taken norco (hydrocodone) for over a month. Depending on the urine/drug screen used, it is possibly (and with some tests even probable) that you will test positive for oxycodone if you have only been taking hydrocodone. Consult an attorney about how to get your tesiing done in a more accurate and just mannrer.
