Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a skin lesion right lower lid margin on my right eye removed and it was diagnosed as basal cell carcinoma, estending to the peripheral and deep skin resection margins. I will be followed by the eye doctor. He said he did not think it was going to be cancerous or he would have taken out more of the area. Is this condition common? What should I expect in the future as far as symptoms to be concerned about? I am going to see a dermatologist in a couple of weeks and will inform her of my condition. Thanks for your help.
