I Had Blood Tests Last Week And His Wbc And Neutrophils Are High.What Could It Be?
my 20month old son has had these 2 lumps on each side of his groin for a few months now.has had blood tests last week and his wbc and neutrophils are high.what could it be?
Hi colleen;
welcome to HealthcareMagic
Few lumps occassionally palpable is childrens are lymph nodes which can be normal if they don't increase in size or cause any pain or discomfort to the child.If the WBC are high then it can suggest infection; but your baby has no symptom like fever ;pain in the lumps .As a precautionary measure i would suggest you to get your baby examinedby a paediatrician & if he finds the baby ;the lumps & his reports normal no need to worry.
Thanks
