I had food poisoning yesterday with stomach cramps but with no running tummy however when I woke up suddenly almost jumping out of bed mid night to relieve myself urine whilst standing by the toilet I felt weak and passed out briefly and fell to the floor. What could it be. This morning I then started having a running tummy which lasted for two hours and cleared. Before the running tummy my wife checked my blood pressure when I passed out it was 143/83 that is at mid night. This morning again when my tummy was grumbling and not yet passing stool it was 159/100. I am not on medication and is this normal. It's three hours after running tummy has cleared I feel very normal but would like to know if medically there is some explanation to my experience since mid night events.
