I Had Pain Above A Permanent Tooth (my Dentist Called

I had pain above a permanent tooth (my dentist called it #12,) causing me to be unable to chew on that side of my mouth. According to my dentist x-rays showed infection and I was told I needed a root canal. He prescribed Azithromycin 250mg to be taken and prior to the root canal which was done 11-20-14. The next day my face was swollen, my tooth was throbbing. I called my dentist and was told to go immediately to my doctor. My dentist called my doctor and told him to give me a shot of dexatron and a shot of rocephin and prescribed Amox/K Clav 875 mg. Back to my dentist and x-rays showed he missed a root and the root canal would have to be repeated! He prescribed Azithromycin 250 again and another root canal was done 12-10-14. Today 12-14-14, I am in pain (about 5) all the time. Tomorrow I feel I should seek a second opinion! What do you suggest?
