I have a 13 year old daughter who has had hives for exactly 8 weeks. We expect these to resolve shortly and they have certainly diminished. She has recently noticed some swelling popping up in different spots on her body. Today it was the arches of both feet and a small lump on her hand and one on her forearm. The areas are itchy and will most likely be gone by tomorrow morning. There will likely be different spots of swelling tomorrow. She takes Claritin and Benadryl. She is uncomfortable and frustrated. Is there something more we should be doing?
