I Have A 6cm Cyst On My Right Ovary. What Could Be The Cause?
I had a pelvic scan yesterday because I have a 6cm cyst on my right ovary , the scan showed that my cyst has reduced a little but the nurse then told me that my left ovary is enlarged and bulky , should I be worried just want to know what could be the cause, I am 37 and have a 2yr old .

bulky ovary is not medically descriptive.It is a normal phenomena during peri ovulatory period due to retention of fluid and functional cysts ,it may be multiple.It is of no clinical importance at all.ocassionally,bulky ovary is associated with PCOD due to increased mass of tissue under improper hormonal influence.If you are clinically ok ,having no other symptoms,don't bother for such report.
